SpaceForMyArt is a clean looking "out of the box" website for artists and anyone else who would like a web site that allows them to add and change content as often as they like, without paying for a full web design service. There are no extra charges each time you want to change any content and no distracting advertisements.
A typical artists' site can be seen here and a typical group page here. All the content is in full control of the artist and group administrator.
Depending on how you sign up you will either choose or be given a username and password and be directed to a login page. The user name cannot be changed but the password can. You should think carefully about your username, which has to be unique, or talk to the group administrator before they create your account.
A link to the Artist Login page can also be found on any group or artists page if you ever lose it. (click on the image to open the login page)
Once you log in you will be taken to your own page, or My Page, where you can build your own web page by adding your own content.
The My Page contains:
The name of the group the artist is affiliated to in the title. If you aren't affiliated to a specific art group you will be affiliated to the general group SpaceForMyArt
A navigation bar, see below
A link to your page so you can easily see how your website is developing.
A count of the number of pictures and capacity used against your current subscription.
A list of the pictures you have registered with the ability to edit or delete them. For more on the picture details see the Add Picture option in the Navigate Section below.

| My Details | Update your personal details, including the picture and about section that appears in the right hand section of your web page |
| Add Picture | Add a new picture and the detailsof your art work |
| My Categories | Add and delete categories for your art work. This will help visitors search your pictures for subjects that interest them |
| My Media | Add and delete the media of your art work eg oil, glass, water colour. This will help visitors search your pictures for media that interest them |
| My Exhibitions | If you have any exhibitions or shows you can put the details in here and they will appear in the options on the left hand side of your page |
| My Links | Create links to other sites that of are interest. Don't forget to get them to reciprocate |
| Logout | Takes you to the Login page and ensures than nobody else can get access to your My Page on shared computers. |
The main difference is that the Group content is maintained by an Administrator, who is also an artist within the group. The Adminstrator has the same My Page where they can control their own content but with two extra options in the navigate bar:
| Group Members | Group members lists all the registered artists in the group as well as the number of pictures and capacity used by each artist. The Administrator can edit an artists' details from this screen. |
| Group Info | Group info gives the Adminstrator access to their logon details, details of the group, eg chairman and secretary, access to group links and and exhibitions and a page for changing the pictures in the slide show on the groups page. |
